February Feature: The Anemone
The Anemone is an invertebrate creature of the sea. It is part of the
Cnidaria (with a silent "c") or Coelenterata phylum. The Anemone uses
its poisonous tentacles to capture food and help transport it through
water. They are commonly found in coral reefs where small fish and debris
are abundantly available for feeding. Their vibrant colors and plethora of
shapes and sizes add to the beauty of the seas all over the world. Learn MORE About Anemones...
